Skills: Classroom Management, Curriculum Development, Differentiated Instruction, Student Assessment, Inquiry-Based Learning, Laboratory Safety Protocols, Educational Technology Integration, Communication (Verbal & Written), Collaboration, Problem-Solving Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Education, or a related scientific field., Valid state teaching certification/license for High School Science (grades 9-12), with emphasis in Biology and/or Chemistry., Proven experience teaching high school-level Biology and Chemistry courses., Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and hands-on laboratory experiences., Strong understanding of current pedagogical best practices and educational standards., Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues., Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students., Successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting upon hire.
